History/Theology Middle School Teacher
Job Description

Qualifications
- A commitment to the Catholic Mission and Catholic Intellectual Tradition
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Design, plan and implement learning experiences for History/Theology based on Diocesan Frameworks
- Ability to develop rigorous lesson plans and assessments
- Deep content area knowledge especially around upper elementary
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- Ability to utilize data to differentiate instruction
- Guide students in their social-emotional development, maintaining expectations and support for positive and productive student behavior
- Regularly communicate with families about classroom happenings and student progress
- Performing other responsibilities as designated by the principal or pastor of the school
Requirements
- Massachusetts Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Relevant Prior Experience (at least 2 years of teaching experience is preferred)
