Job Description

MNX, a UPS Company, is currently seeking a driver to pick up and deliver packages from local customer locations in the Boston / Chelsea, MA area.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload shipments for delivery.
  • Knowledge of and abide by all safety, security, and operating procedures for pickup and delivery of customer packages and operating motor vehicles including remaining in compliance with all Federal, state, and local laws.
  • Scan information on airbills and manifests.

Requirements

  • Applicants must complete TSA testing.
  • Position requires the ability to communicate (write and speak) in English and the ability to provide general direction to others.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must possess a valid class "D" driver's license (a CDL is NOT required).
  • Applicants must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years with no tickets or accidents and maintain that driving record.
  • Applicants must be able to lift in excess of 70 lbs.
  • Applicants must be able to pass a strict credit check, a 10-year documented background check, and a criminal history check, including past employment verification, education verification, criminal history records check and must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Applicants must be able to provide a high school diploma, GED transcripts, or a higher education diploma.

This position is a Full-Time position, 40 hours per week at $21.35 per hour. Monday - Friday 12 am (midnight) - 8:00 am. You will also be expected to cover when the other drivers are on vacation or leave sick.

Compensation & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay rate for this position is $21.35 per hour . Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience.

Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $17.65/hr to $29.40/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
