Mechanical / Controls Engineer – Industrial Systems (Full-Time, Direct Hire)
Location: Billerica, MA | Type: Direct Hire

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer with experience in instrumentation, controls, or mechanical systems to work on design/build projects in chemical process, life sciences, and environmental industries. If you’ve worked with industrial equipment, automation, or process systems, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and specify instrumentation, controls, or mechanical systems for industrial projects

• Develop I/O lists, loop diagrams, control panel layouts, or mechanical equipment layouts

• Select and specify sensors, transmitters, PLCs, pumps, valves, and related equipment

• Coordinate with vendors and assist with procurement

• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on site

• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams

What You Bring:

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field

• 2+ years in instrumentation, controls, mechanical systems, or process engineering

• Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems and/or industrial mechanical equipment

• Knowledge of relevant standards (UL-508A, hazardous areas, ASME, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
