(CHH) wants you to be on our team as the Counseling and Advocacy Manager where you will play a key leadership role in shaping CHH’s Survivor Services program which uplifts, heals, and empowers survivors of sexual violence across the Merrimack Valley.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
· Supervise survivor services staff, counselors/advocates, volunteers, and interns
· Provide guidance, support, and additional facilitation expertise to CHH’s support group offerings
· Create and oversee program planning, logic models, and workplans
· Develop and maintain working relationships with community service organizations, therapeutic partners, and systems of care (medical, legal, public assistance, etc.)
· Collaborate with Driving Hope team regarding issues related to survivor advocacy to increase community outreach efforts
· Educate internally and externally on issues related to trauma informed survivor such as health and racial equity, immigration, language access and inclusion, etc.
· Maintain an empathetic, courteous, accepting office environment conducive to good staff morale and performance
· Provide trauma informed 1:1 counseling
· Provide oversight and assistance with new referrals, and make assignments to counselor/advocates based on survivor need
· Oversee and facilitate as needed survivor support groups rooted in psychoeducation, therapeutic, wellness and reflection, and/or skills-based practice
· Complete regular data collection and reporting, grant writing, and budgets as needed
· Manage clinical learning for staff in collaboration with CHH’s agency clinical supervisor
· Participate in providing on-call and back-up coverage for CHH’s 24-hour hotline, medical advocacy response, and web-chat services
· Once trained, supervise and support the facilitation of CHH’s internal RCC training
· Other related duties as determined by direct supervisor
What We’re Looking For:
· Advanced Degree in related field or equivalent work experience (e.g., social work, sociology, psychology, community organizing, human services, etc)
· A license in social work or mental health counseling preferred (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC)
· 3-4 years of experience working in crisis intervention or systems-based advocacy services (e.g., medical, legal, public assistance, housing, etc)
· Experience developing and implementing culturally competent programs and services
· Management and supervision experience, especially in building high performing teams
· Mature clinical judgment and leadership, who can inspire and support the growth of their staff
· Experience working with, and delivering services for, historically underserved populations (e.g., youth of color, LGBQ/T, refugees and immigrants, men and boys, people with disabilities, etc.)
· Must have recordkeeping, organizational, and time management skills
· Lived experience with sexual violence, systems work, and volunteerism
· Good relational and public speaking skills, writing skills, and a passion for social justice and change
· Ability to travel in Lowell, within state, and work evenings and weekends as necessary
· Bilingual & bicultural (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Khmer, highly desired)
· Trained RCC Counselor or ability to begin RCC training within 1 month of hire
