The Opportunity

The Growth Account Executive is a key member of the School Partnerships team, tasked with enhancing our existing customer base across various Australian states. This role involves nurturing and expanding relationships with educational institutions within NSW through strategic and commercial initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Customer Success team, the executive will identify and leverage opportunities for growth, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving Atomi's mission.

At Atomi, we aim to move quickly and keep things transparent. Once you're into the interview stage, we'll make sure you get meaningful feedback and insights from the team. For this role, you can expect the process to look like this:

  1. Initial Screen w/ Atomi's People Team
  2. Interview Round 1: Culture and Motivations
  3. Interview Round 2: Technical Assessment - Role Play

What You'll Do

  • Drive outbound lead generation within existing schools to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Build and expand relationships that turn into opportunities and long-term partnerships.
  • Run engaging product demos that show Atomi's value and inspire confidence.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to multithread accounts and strengthen commercial outcomes.
  • Manage and grow your pipeline throughout the year, consistently hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiate pricing and close expansion deals that deliver measurable revenue growth.
  • Share market insights with Sales, Product and Marketing to shape growth strategies.

What You'll Bring to Atomi

  • Proven experience in SaaS or tech solution sales, with a strong record of hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Confidence in prospecting and building new relationships, with the ability to expand accounts over time.
  • Familiarity with 'land and expand' strategies and partnering with internal teams to drive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills -- able to explain complex concepts simply and persuasively.
  • A growth mindset: open to feedback, continuous improvement, and new ways of working.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, earning trust and credibility with stakeholders.
  • Bonus: experience in startups or EdTech.

  • Generous leave: Experience additional paid leave options as a permanent team member.
  • Location independence: Work from Sydney, interstate or wherever you find inspiration.

  • Regular social in-person and remote events: Including team sports competitions, trivia nights and themed annual events.
  • Atomi access: Enjoy free Atomi services for you and your family.
  • Onsite teams: Our Sydney office is ideally located in a central setting with cafes, shops and public transport nearby.

How to Apply

Ironically for an education company, we're not huge sticklers for qualifications. We're more interested in how your skills and experience can contribute to our team. Make sure to include links to any relevant projects, like your portfolio, writing, GitHub, etc. - whatever helps us understand what you're good at, what you're passionate about, and why you'd be a great fit at Atomi.

We also know great people come from all kinds of backgrounds, so even if you don't meet all the requirements we've listed, you should still apply.

Please note: You'll need Australian working rights for this role.
