IT Specialist-Cloud Photos Export

My client is urgently seeking an iCloud Export Specialist to manage the organization of over 300,000 Photos/Videos to External SSD (Metadata Critical). This is a dynamic role with flexible hours as you may work from home to complete this project. It is a temporary role and is great for those looking for project work.

Scope of Work:

Access my client's iCloud Photos library (credentials will be provided securely)

• Download ALL photos and videos in original, full-resolution format (no compression, no previews)
• Ensure metadata is preserved, including:
• Original creation date (critical)
• Time/date consistency
• Location data if available
• Avoid or remove duplicates (if feasible without risking data loss)
• Export files in a clean, logical structure (to be agreed upon), such as:
• Transfer all files onto a high-quality external SSD (e.g., Samsung T7 or equivalent)
• Ship the completed drive to me
• Troubleshoot common issues related to photo export, including syncing errors, storage limitations, and account access problems.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and resolve complex export challenges, ensuring minimal disruption for users.
• Document export procedures and create helpful resources to support ongoing user education and self-service options.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of iCloud Photo features, updates, and best practices to provide accurate assistance.
• Ensure data privacy and security protocols are strictly followed during all export activities.
• Gather user feedback to identify areas for process improvement and enhance overall service quality.

Skills

• Strong understanding of iCloud Photos platform and related Apple ecosystem services.
• Large-scale data transfers
• Metadata preservation workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Experience with photo management tools, including photo organization and exporting features.
• Familiarity with data privacy standards and secure handling of user information..
• Broken EXIF data during export
• File naming inconsistencies

Deliverables:

• External SSD containing:
• All original photos/videos
• Preserved metadata
• Clean, navigable folder structure
• Confirmation of total file count and any discrepancies

Important Notes:

• Data integrity is more important than speed. Do NOT use methods that strip metadata or alter timestamps

Pay: $25.24 - $30.40 per hour
