Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts

Schedule: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week



Position Overview


"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiology Diagnostic Technician III for a contract opportunity in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong phlebotomy and EKG experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection procedures accurately and efficiently
• Conduct non-invasive cardiology testing including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing
• Verify patient identity and explain testing and specimen collection procedures
• Transport specimens to the laboratory while ensuring proper documentation
• Complete cardiac test ordering and billing information accurately
• Maintain patient information within hospital documentation systems
• Support nursing and clinical staff with specimen collection needs
• Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and assist with service recovery when needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary testing/work areas
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages
• Assist with training and mentoring staff and students as needed
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) required
• EKG Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
