Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create, optimize, and maintain high‐quality CNC programs using Mastercam and Fusion 360 . The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, understands best practices for tooling and workholding, and can translate engineering models into efficient and reliable machining processes.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & CAM

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and Fusion 360 for milling, turning, and multi‐axis operations.
• Generate accurate toolpaths based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and production requirements.
• Set cutting parameters, feeds/speeds, and tooling strategies to maximize efficiency and part quality.
• Simulate toolpaths to verify accuracy, prevent collisions, and ensure manufacturability.

Shop Floor Support

• Collaborate with machinists during program prove‐out and first‐article production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, make program adjustments, and resolve tooling or geometric problems.
• Assist with machine setup instructions, workholding methods, and process documentation.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Ensure all programs meet tolerance, surface finish, and dimensional requirements.
• Improve machining workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance tool life.
• Maintain program files, tool libraries, and version control in an organized system.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC Programming experience in a production or prototyping environment.
• Proficiency with Mastercam (3‐axis minimum; 4/5‐axis preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Fusion 360 CAM .
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T , technical drawings, and 3D CAD models.
• Familiarity with common CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, DMG Mori, Okuma, etc.).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, feeds/speeds, cutting tool selection, and materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics, etc.).
• Experience with post processors and machine-specific G‐code.

Preferred Skills

• 4‐axis or 5‐axis programming experience.
• Experience with mold, aerospace, automotive, or medical part machining.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Basic CAD design skills for fixture creation and model cleanup.
• Ability to train or mentor junior machinists or operators.
