We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Branch Supervisor to join our team. The primary responsibilities of the Branch Supervisor will be providing an exceptional level of service to our customers and supervising our Bank Tellers. This team-oriented individual will be responsible for developing their knowledge of bank policies, procedures, products, and services to promote them to our customers efficiently. The Branch Supervisor must also have the ability to complete daily operational/administrative tasks to ensure the teller line operates smoothly.

The right candidate should have a previous banking background and at least two years of supervisory experience.

Under the direction of the Assistant Branch Manager, this position's purpose is to support the office in various supervisory, customer service, operational, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides internal/external service consistent with the Bank's Customer Bill of Rights and ensures that the Teller Team is providing that level of service.
  • Responsible for the supervision, coaching, and performance evaluation of the Teller Team and assisting with staff development. Maintains harmonious relationships with staff and resolves conflicts as they occur
  • Oversees teller interactions with customers and supervises the daily activities conducted by tellers to ensure that it is running effectively.
  • Supports the Branch's operational needs to ensure the branch operates according normal business hours and ensures audits, reporting and various Banking systems including the Vault, ED Machine, ATM, Card@Once Machines, are available and are in working order.
  • Processes a variety of teller transactions, including but not limited to Check Cashing, Mortgage Payments, Deposits, Withdrawals, etc.
  • Opens deposit accounts and assists in all other customer service-related customer requests and inquiries and promotes and sells bank products and services to customers based on their individual needs.
  • Provides support for consumer and business inbound calls, emails, and chats (Call Center Support) as needed.
  • Required to work two Saturdays per four-week month and three Saturdays in a five-week month.

Qualifications and Other Determining Factors:

  • Excellent written and verbal internal/external communication skills
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and can complete tasks accurately
  • Fully understands all Teller/PB operational procedures and policies
  • Well versed in all WSB products and services
  • Shows an eagerness to enhance current skills and bank knowledge
  • Has the ability to supervise a team
  • Has a strong attendance record and is reliable
  • The applicant's educational background will be considered
