1st shift, 7:00 am - 3:00pm

Pay based on experience

Job Summary
This position requires a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, ability to self manage and help others and a desire to learn new things. Some mechanical experience is required.

Responsibilities

- Read and follow product specification and work procedures to establish appropriate machine settings

- Troubleshoot and monitor multiple lines

- Perform tests of product to confirm products meets customer specification

- Use hand tools to perform machine set-ups and teardowns efficiently following operating procedures and instructions. Properly cleaning, protecting and storing all extrusion tooling.

- Label, package and palletize finished product as specified. Must be able to physically wrap and strap pallets.

- General housekeeping of extrusion line and production areas keeping plant cleaned, organized, safe and items put away correctly in proper locations.

- Requires ability to learn and adapt to new technology

- Requires ability to work in a fast paced environment under deadlines.

- Must work well as a team and be willing to help out where needed

- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Skills :

Mechanical ability to learn how to perform machine cleanouts, set ups and break downs.

Ability to stand on your feet for the length of the shift.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education :

High school diploma/GED required.
