Boston Conveyor and Automation (BCA) is expanding rapidly, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our team in our clean, modern Newburyport facility. What You'll Do

As a Press Brake Operator at BCA, you'll play a vital role in fabricating high-quality components. Your day-to-day will include:

• Setting up and operating press brake machines and rolls to form metal parts accurately
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Selecting the right tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job
• Measuring and inspecting finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and precision tools
• Ensuring all work meets strict quality and dimensional standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace
• Planning ahead and staying organised to meet production deadlines

You'll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, no two days are the same.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a reliable, proactive individual who takes pride in their work:

Required:

• 2+ years of press brake operating experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email)
• High School diploma (or equivalent / on-the-job training)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods

Preferred:

• Experience working with large parts and stainless steel
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
