MRI Technician
Schedule: M-F with rotating weekends | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm | Relocation Available Our client is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join their diagnostic imaging team. This full-time position plays a vital role in delivering quality imaging services and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional capable of working independently while ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging equipment, and upholding the highest technical standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive range of MRI procedures using independent judgment and technical expertise
Deliver safe and compassionate patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital protocols
Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, including PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems
Maintain strict compliance with OSHA standards and hospital infection control practices
Participate in continuing education activities and complete required competency validations
May assume supervisory or mentoring responsibilities based on departmental needs Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA-approved program in MRI
- Current CPR certification & ARRT(MR) certification required within two years of hire
- Student training in MRI or diagnostic radiology is accepted as minimum experience
- Massachusetts Radiography License & ARRT(RTR) certification
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with MRI equipment and related systems (PACS, HIS, RIS)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong commitment to safety and confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
