Software GUI Developer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Software GUI Developer with a passion for creating elegant, intuitive user interfaces for embedded systems and mobile devices. - 3-10 years of experience developing user interfaces for embedded or mobile platforms
- Experience with GUI frameworks such as:
- Qt/QML (strongly desired) paired with C++
- Flutter, C#, or .NET MAUI
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and touch- based UX design
- Familiarity with cross-platform interface constraints and performance optimization
- BSEE or BSCS of related degree required
Bonus points for:
- Being adept at Agile development practices
- Experience developing software for regulated industries, especially medical devices
- Exposure to Linux application or driver-level development
- Knowledge of common communication protocols
- Experience in cybersecurity and patient safety risk analysis
- Familiarity with multi-platform development pipelines
You should be :
- Collaborative and proactive in cross-functional environments
- Passionate about UI/UX craftsmanship for real-world devices
- Comfortable working in both remote and in-person Agile teams
- Always learning—Sunrise engineers are encouraged to explore varied technologies and rapid prototyping methods
