Job Description
As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our e-commerce and contract order fulfillment processes. Your primary focus will be on processing orders, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level graduate to gain experience in the accounting industry with a dynamic non-profit organization.
Responsibilities
- Verify and process website, fax, and email purchases made using purchase orders within 24 hours of order.
- Monitor book order emails and phone lines, ensuring all orders are processed within 2 hours of receipt.
- Process shipping orders for professional development and curriculum materials contracts.
- Support accounts receivable activities as required.
- Process reseller orders within 24 hours and monitor major reseller portals weekly or daily.
- Communicate with resellers and provide clear updates to the supervisor.
- Provide prompt responses and solutions to customer and reseller inquiries via phone or email.
- Monitor and manage product inventory levels weekly, working closely with the supervisor.
- Conduct annual physical inventory and make inventory adjustments in NetSuite as directed.
- Support staff accountant in annual depreciation reporting.
- Maintain an accurate and updated product listing, ensuring the website reflects current inventory.
- Run monthly Cost of Goods reports and coordinate with the shipping and storage company as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proficient knowledge of NetSuite or ability to develop and demonstrate proficiency within 60 days.
- Completion of NetSuite SuiteFoundation certification within the first 180 days of employment.
- Proficient in MS Word and Google Suite; excellent in Excel.
- Effective communication and writing skills, with a positive interpersonal approach.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, even with interruptions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Two-year degree in accounting or related field preferred, or a high school diploma with 2+ years of experience in a finance department.
- Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, open office environment.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. The environment is highly collaborative, requiring a professional and cooperative disposition. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Turners Falls, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
