Registered Respiratory Therapist--PRADC5784490 (Oak Bluffs)
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in respiratory care across all age groups and skilled in performing a variety of respiratory tests. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to educate patients and families, and proficiency with respiratory equipment and electronic health records, such as EPIC. Client Information: A healthcare organization seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist. This provider focuses on patient care and utilizes advanced technology like EPIC. Responsibilities: • Key Responsibilities • Provide respiratory care utilizing a wide range of respiratory therapy equipment • Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and prescribed medications • Perform diagnostic testing including Pulmonary Function Tests, Stress Tests, and EKGs • Deliver compassionate care to patients of all age groups • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC system Qualification: • Bachelors Degree • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program Required Skills: • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with a variety of respiratory therapy equipment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively with patients across the lifespan • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. Preferred Skills: • Experience in an acute care or clinical setting • Proficiency in patient and family education regarding respiratory health and treatment • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
