Global Data Science Senior Manager (Offshore - INTL - India)

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Global Data Science Senior Manager for one of our large consulting clients sitting in India. This role will be hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2x days per week onsite at the client's office in Cyber City, Gurugram, Haryana, India. This individual will play a senior leadership role within a Knowledge Data & Analytics team, operating as both a hands-on technical expert and a people leader. On a daily basis, this person will lead teams of data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and AI practitioners to design, build, and scale advanced data engineering, analytics, AI, and GenAI solutions. They will architect and oversee robust data pipelines and backend systems using Python, SQL, and modern cloud data platforms, while applying machine learning and GenAI techniques (including prompt engineering, agentic AI, and LLM-based solutions) to real business and knowledge use cases. This role also involves partnering closely with global stakeholders, translating complex data challenges into actionable strategies, driving best practices across teams, and communicating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences through dashboards, data stories, and executive-level narratives.

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, with leadership across data engineering, data science, and AI-driven analytics

-Expert-level Python proficiency with hands-on experience building, optimizing, and automating large-scale data workflows

-Strong experience with SQL, Snowflake, and cloud services (e.g., AWS Glue, Lambda, S3), including architecture design and performance tuning

-Solid understanding of data architecture principles, including dimensional modeling, schema design, data quality, and batch/real-time processing

-Hands-on exposure to AI and GenAI technologies (e.g., OpenAI APIs, LangChain, agentic AI frameworks) applied in production or enterprise analytics environments

-Experience designing AI-enhanced data solutions, including LLM and RAG-based approaches for data enrichment, insights, or automation

Proven experience leading and developing technical teams within an Agile/Scrum delivery model

-Strong execution mindset with the ability to own delivery, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for senior leaders -Experience designing and scaling solutions across AWS, GCP, or Azure

-Exposure to MLOps and modern cloud-native deployment practices

-Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

-Experience establishing AI governance, validation, documentation, or ethical AI practices

-Background supporting enterprise-wide analytics, knowledge platforms, or decision-support systems

-Strong interest in innovation, emerging AI technologies, and continuous improvement

-Experience coaching teams and building long-term technical capability across organizations
