POSITION: Senior/Chief Estimator LOCATION: Boston, Massachusetts

POSITION SUMMARY : We're seeking an experienced Senior/Chief Estimator to lead the preconstruction department and oversee all estimating operations. This key leadership role will drive the company's continued success in securing and executing high-value projects exceeding $5MM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : • Lead and mentor the estimating team • Oversee all preconstruction activities and bid processes • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff • Prepare and review comprehensive estimates using Quickbid • Develop and implement estimating standards and procedures • Analyze construction documents and identify potential risks • Lead scope review meetings with project stakeholders • Maintain relationships with key subcontractors and vendors • Participate in value engineering initiatives • Present bid proposals to executive team and clients • Collaborate with operations team for seamless project transitions • Develop and maintain historical cost databases
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 7+ years of commercial estimating experience • Proven track record on projects valued over $5MM • Expert proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid software • Strong understanding of construction methods and sequences • Excellence in reading and interpreting construction documents • Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : • Previous supervisory or department leadership experience • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field • Experience with design-build delivery method • Knowledge of Boston/New England construction market • ASPE certification
