Director of Family Services
The Community Action, Inc. Head Start/Early Head Start (CAI HS/EHS) program provides comprehensive early education and care services for children ages 0-5 and serves more than 300 infants, toddlers, pregnant mothers, fathers and preschoolers.
CAI Head Start is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Director of Family Services
The Director of Family Services provides oversight and supervision to ensure compliance of Office of Head Start Performance Standards and regulations relating to family and community engagement as well as eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance (ERSEA). Ensures program compliance of the MA Department of Early Education and Care, the Department of Children and Families and the Department of Housing and Community Development policies, and regulations. Position includes community outreach and occasional night meetings. Candidates must have experience working with diverse families with young children. Qualified candidates have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or a related field and a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Salary range is $45.04-$47.78 per hour dependent upon education and experience.
