Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Williamstown, MA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills after injury, illness, or disability. This role offers the opportunity to provide person-centered care while working within an interdisciplinary team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Experience with assessments, ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
  • Experience with restorative nursing programs preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
  • Guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to skilled nursing patients. Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams to create and implement individualized care plans, support restorative programs, and document progress to optimize functional outcomes.
