Volunteer: Graphic Design Support

This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.

Our goal for this project is to develop a small set of core graphic design assets that support our updated brand over a defined period of time. We’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help us create and refine a toolkit of reusable materials, not open‑ended ongoing design support unless later desired by volunteer and initiated by them. Support for this project will be limited to: 3–5 social media post templates for our key platforms 1–2 email header or campaign layouts 1 simple pitch deck or one‑pager template for partners and funders Light refinement of 2–3 existing branded pieces (no full rebrand or website design) The volunteer will work with our existing logo, color palette, and fonts, and we will provide all copy and content. Website design or development is not included in this scope, and any future needs beyond these specific deliverables will be requested as separate projects on Taproot.

This project will support the implementation of our evolving brand and help us solidify our voice as an organization. Strong, consistent design will allow us to better reach and support more filmmakers, amplify underrepresented stories, and expand the impact of our programs!

We’ll support a successful partnership by providing: Clear goals, brand context, and reference materials Slack communication to stay aligned and responsive Meetings as needed to build rapport and collaborate on projects Direct implementation of designs across our programs, communications, and outreach efforts We value creative growth, open communication, and ongoing feedback throughout the project.

Ineffable Films, Inc. Mission: Ineffable Films is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young filmmakers from international lineages to tell the human journey of awakening in a world different from them, yet one they cannot abandon. We explore narratives that expose and celebrate the cultures, ethnicities, and communities of worlds both real and imagined. Our mission is to support these teenagers, especially those from BIPOC backgrounds, in telling their unique human journeys through the powerful medium of film. We operate primarily in the Greater Boston area, including Somerville, Cambridge, and Brookline, with aspirations to expand our reach and impact.
