- Review and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare and assist with detailed quantity takeoffs, estimates, and proposals.
- Organize, review, and level subcontractor bids and proposals.
- Support development of project budgets and preliminary schedules.
- Understand contracts, scopes of work, and pricing structures.
- Participate in client meetings and preconstruction discussions.
- Collaborate with senior estimators and project management teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with CAD software preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Prior construction or estimating experience required.
- 7+ years of experience in Commercial Construction Estimating preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years estimating experience considered.
