Finance Manager - Tech Opportunities
One of Kforce's greatest financial services clients in Boston, MA is in search of a Finance Manager - Tech Opportunities. This role is hybrid, 3 days a week, in office. Key Responsibilities:
- Review fund performance, capital activity, and investor reporting
- Oversee financial reporting, valuations, and fund administration activities
- Coordinate annual audits and support external service providers
- Monitor cash activity, liquidity, and fund transactions
- Analyze portfolio company performance and support periodic reviews
- Assist with investor communications, reporting materials, and information requests
- Ensure compliance with governing agreements and internal policies
- Collaborate on process improvements, technology adoption, and special projects
- Support cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc business needs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance, investment operations, or related fields
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and operational processes
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working with financial systems, business applications, and emerging technologies
- Experience utilizing data, automation, AI tools, or reporting solutions to improve efficiency
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; Familiarity with reporting or visualization tools is a plus
- Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar are preferred
