Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist

A growing landscaping and horticulture company is seeking a Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist in Cohasset, MA . This full-time role requires 2–4 years of professional gardening or horticulture experience . The successful candidate will manage container gardens, seasonal plantings, and landscape maintenance for residential and commercial clients throughout Cohasset . Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and design container gardens, planters, and landscape beds in Cohasset properties.
• Select, plant, and arrange annuals, perennials, shrubs, and ornamental plants for seasonal displays.
• Perform pruning, fertilizing, pest and disease management to maintain plant health.
• Conduct regular landscape maintenance , including watering, weeding, and soil care.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to meet garden design and landscape expectations .
• Monitor plant growth, troubleshoot plant health issues, and implement horticultural solutions.
• Safely maintain and operate landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and outdoor equipment.
• Assist with seasonal planting projects, including spring and fall container installations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening .
• Knowledge of plant varieties, soil types, fertilization, and pest management practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power equipment, and irrigation systems safely.
• Physically able to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of landscape design principles preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
