Video Editor + Content Creator (1099 Contractor)

Veteran Hiring Solutions is redefining how companies hire with video job descriptions that actually cut through all the noise. We’re looking for a VIDEO EDITOR/CONTENT CREATOR to help us take our videos to the next level— we need them to be more dynamic, eye-catching, and impossible to scroll past. This video content will help us launch Veteran Hiring Solutions TikTok page.

What You’ll Do

• Turn raw footage into polished, professional, engaging video job descriptions and social media content.
  
• Add graphics, animations, and storytelling that connect veterans and hiring managers.
  
• Create platform-specific edits for LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond.
  
• Approximately 15-20 hours per week.
  

What Success Looks Like

• Videos that capture attention in the first 5 seconds.
  
• Content that drives engagement and gets people talking.
  
• A repeatable style that helps VHS scale as we grow.
  

Requirements

What You Bring

• A strong editing/content portfolio.
  
• Experience with CapCut, Premiere, After Effects, and/or Descript (we use CapCut and Descript).
  
• Creativity, independence, and reliability as a 1099 partner.
