Bookkeeper

The ideal candidate will be an experienced bookkeeper who is self-motivated, outgoing and enjoys communicating with the firm's clients, providing QuickBooks assistance when needed, reviewing interim and year-end closing of books that will be used to prepare tax returns

Responsibilities:

• Provide bookkeeping and QuickBooks assistance to firm clients

• Support client bookkeepers using your strong understanding of accounting and QuickBooks
• Review business client books during the year and after year-end

• Enter adjustments and reclassifications in QuickBooks, when needed

• Maintain relationships through client support

Required Skills:

• 2-4 years experienced in all areas of bookkeeping

• High level of experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Online Version
• Understanding of sales tax and payroll tax filings

• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills and a problem solver

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills:

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor
• Experience in closing books to prepare entity tax returns

• Preparation of individual or entity tax returns
