Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health of our home care operations by ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, and compliance with payer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle process including billing, collections, and payment posting
- Verify and track authorizations, insurance eligibility, and patient data accuracy
- Submit claims to private insurance, ASAPs, Waiver, VA, and other payers
- Resolve billing issues and follow up on unpaid claims
- Work with case managers, schedulers, and the clinical team to ensure timely documentation
- Generate financial reports and assist in monthly reconciliation
- Stay current with home care billing regulations and payer requirements
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management, preferably in home care or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of ASAP, VA billing, and private insurance procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
