Senior Field Applications Scientist (Cryo-EM)

You will play a crucial part in delivering flawless customer interactions and outstanding product assistance.
Responsibilities
- Foster positive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service.
- Perform customer training both on-site and remotely, and interpret customer requirements to develop practical solutions.
- Facilitate the functional demonstration of newly assembled systems by conducting acceptance tests at the Thermo Fisher Scientific production facility or after installation at customer sites.
- Serve as a specialist in within the life science domain.
- Support R&D, product development, marketing, and sales by lending applications expertise.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in interacting with customers, service engineers, product marketing managers, and R&D teams.
- Strong communication and inter-cultural skills.
- Capability to operate autonomously as well as cooperatively within a group setting.
- Outstanding skill in translating customer needs into actionable solutions.
- 8 years' competence in within the life science domain and a bachelor's degree or advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Outstanding colleague who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at working independently or remotely.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on inter-cultural understanding.
- Experience in conducting training and facilitating demonstrations.
- Ability to support various departments with applications expertise.
