Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $32 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Hours: Monday-Friday 40+ hours
• Perform selective demolition of existing apartment features to prepare for accessibility upgrades
• Complete wood framing for doorways, walls, and other structures in compliance with ADA requirements
• Install and adjust interior doors for proper swing and clearance
• Install baseboards, trim, and molding with precision and clean finish
• Install wire shelving in closets and storage areas
• Mount bathroom accessories such as grab bars, mirrors, towel holders, and other ADA-compliant fixtures
• Ensure all work meets building codes, ADA standards, and project specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with project managers, other trades, and site supervisors to complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18+ years of age Proven experience as a commercial carpenter
• Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry
• Knowledge of ADA compliance requirements preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation and tools
• OSHA-10 certification preferred
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the commercial field required
• Prior experience using standard carpentry hand and power tools required
