Emmaus Inc., a non-profit in Haverhill MA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance. The successful
candidate will work as part of our facilities management team to provide preventative, routine
and emergency multi-site property management services. This will include general upkeep of
residential apartment buildings and program offices with skills in basic plumbing, carpentry and
unit turnover.
Requirements of the Maintenance Worker:
- MUST participate in "on-call" rotation to deal with emergencies on evenings and weekends
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, small electrical repairs, general maintenance, the ability to use floor maintenance machines, and willingness to carry out cleaning duties as needed
- Ability to perform physical work and to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds as required
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Good interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional manner.
- Must have a valid driver's license in good standing and be willing to travel locally
- Must be able to pass CORI and driving records check
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
