Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Care Coordinator
*What you will do*
In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
*Minimum Qualifications*
* *Education*: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
* *Licensure*: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.
* *Certification*: BLS (AHA/ARC). Certification in Case Management (ACM, CCM) required within one year of employment after meeting minimum requirements.
*Preferred Skills: *
* *Experience:* three years of diversified, progressive experience with at least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care facility or public health nurse setting.
* Including an in-depth understanding of and skill in using many nationally recognized medical utilization criteria sets (i.e. MCG, InterQual, and others as needed).
* Requires a solid understanding of managed care methodologies, HCFA/OBRA and state of Connecticut regulatory compliance issues, and JCAHO accreditation accountabilities of the Continuum of Care
*Work Schedule*: 30-hours Days
*Pay Range:* $40.05-$64.60r
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Other facilities include Mercy's Rehabilitation Hospital, a comprehensive hospital-based rehabilitation center on the campus of Mercy Medical Center and Brightside for Families and Children, an outpatient service offering counseling and family support programs.
