Lynch & Owens is a family law firm located on the South Shore of Massachusetts, less than half a mile from Route 3 in Hingham. Our attorneys are experienced, energetic, and team-oriented. Our firm has recently adopted a new 5-year strategic plan that includes substantial growth and hiring. This plan presents substantial opportunities for rapid advancement and growth for new team members.
We are seeking domestic relations attorneys at the following three experience levels:
- Associate Domestic Relations Attorney (1 to 3 years’ experience). For this position, we are looking for an ambitious and detail-orientated candidate whose resume and recent work history demonstrate a commitment to excelling in family law while maintaining the highest ethical standards. Successful applicants must be highly organized, mature, and poised. The ideal candidate is personable and professional with clients and can manage their time effectively. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of family law and demonstrate the ability, experience, and knowledge to confidently attend/handle court appearances independently, research complex legal issues, write and speak proficiently, and take responsibility for carefully tracking their time and activities. - Domestic Relations Attorney (4 to 9 years’ experience). A successful candidate’s resume will include demonstrable and recent success as an attorney with majority family law practice. The candidate should have a proven track record of excelling in family law while maintaining the highest ethical standards. Successful applicants must have experience appearing in Massachusetts Probate & Family Courts, including motion practice and trial. The candidate should understand the nuances of family law and be prepared to discuss hypothetical legal questions in an interview setting. Please be prepared to provide strong references who can speak to your professional abilities.
- Senior Domestic Relations Attorney (10+ years’ experience). A successful candidate’s resume will include a high level of success as an attorney with a majority family law practice. The candidate should have an established reputation for excellence in family law while maintaining the highest ethical standards. The candidate should be prepared to describe their success in major trials and appellate decisions, as well as hypothetical legal questions in an interview setting. Please be prepared to provide strong references who can speak to your professional abilities.
