Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology Unit
• Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Longwood Medical Area)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts; every other weekend required
• On-Call: Weekend, day shift, and on-call coverage required
• Orientation: Weekly (every Monday, except holidays)

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
• Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License (required for MA healthcare jobs)
• ARRT Registration (RT ART)
• BLS Certification
• Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms and provide on-call coverage for trauma cases
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Scrub and circulator experience in interventional radiology procedures
• Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices (PE/Stroke)
• Proficiency in angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
• Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last six months
• Flu vaccine required prior to start date

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including thrombectomy, angioplasty, and TIPS
• Operate and maintain GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Serve as scrub and circulator during interventional procedures
• Provide on-call coverage for trauma and urgent radiology cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in weekly orientation and ongoing clinical training as required
