Salary: $27-$32

This is a full-time position totaling 40 hours per week. Thirty (30) hours per week will be dedicated to a specific commercial property. The remaining ten (10) hours will be filled by Cape Associates with additional property management or maintenance-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of commercial properties and complete inspection checklists
- Identify, perform, and/or coordinate maintenance and repair tasks across multiple commercial sites
- Support the Home Property Watch program with inspections and maintenance, as needed
- Assist in developing estimates for commercial maintenance projects
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors for specialized work
- Conduct storm inspections and report any necessary remediation
- Manage and update work orders through internal software
- Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and team members
- Provide emergency phone coverage on a rotational basis
- Support inspectors and property management team with various departmental tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience in property maintenance or facilities management strongly preferred
- Ability to learn and utilize Foundation (work order management and accounting software)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar scheduling
- Comfortable using digital tools such as iPads, iPhones, laptops, and desktop computers
- Must pass a CORI background check
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and respond to time-sensitive issues professionally
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds.
- Able to work in various weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
- Physically fit and able to perform various tasks that include standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc.
- Including but not limited to climbing ladders, being on roofs, walking around the property, entering crawl spaces, etc.
