The Sr. Commercial Credit Underwriter evaluates financial condition of existing and prospective individuals and businesses applying for credit with the Bank, determining credit worthiness. Prepares and reviews all supporting documentation for underwriting and recommends approval or rejection of credit requests. Additionally, the Sr. Commercial Credit Underwriter provides guidance to other Credit Underwriters within the department.
Essential Functions

- Works independently analyzing complex loan data and financial information on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions and Bank files.
- Completes Credit Memo/Underwriting of requests for commercial credit, remote deposit capture, and ACH customers with the Bank.
- Prepares spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank Officers on new, renewal and existing loans.
- receivable and other information on customer accounts. Performs quarterly financial reviews identifying possible negative trends.
- Assigns risk ratings to each borrower of the bank.
- Provides technical support to loan officers and other credit underwriters.
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 per year and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

Requirements:- Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting.
- Three or more years of commercial credit analysis experience.
- Strong financial analytical abilities; detailed oriented.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and properly use various software programs.
