Love dogs? Looking for a rewarding job where every day brings wagging tails and furry friends? Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure in Marlborough, MA is hiring a Lead Doggy Daycare Attendant / Animal Caretaker (also known as Dog Handler, Pet Care Specialist, or Kennel Assistant) to join our team!

This is not a summer job. We’re looking for reliable, long-term team members who want to grow with us.


Position Detail:

• Full-time
• Schedules are based on what dogs we get from week to week.
• No weekend shifts required.
• Pay: $18–$20/hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise safe, structured, and fun dog playgroups.
• Track and document feedings, potty breaks, and behavior.
• Clean and maintain a hygienic, safe facility for all pets.
• Greet pet parents with excellent customer service during drop-off and pick-up.
• Manage sign-ins, check-outs, and payments.
• Support a positive, drama-free team culture.
• Ensure all dogs receive quality care, attention, and enrichment.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation.
• Must speak English.
• Previous dog handling experience preferred (kennel, vet, grooming, shelter, or daycare).
• Ability to read and interpret dogs’ body language preferred.
• Will train to interpret body language if necessary.
• Detail-oriented, patient, and dependable.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for extended periods.
• Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
• Team player with strong communication skills and a genuine love for animals.
