Shop Foreman

DATTCO has an opening for a Shop Foreman for our Coach & Tour Fleet Maintenance facility located in Millbury, MA.

Primary responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the maintenance shop and wash bays
  • Includes 24/7 responsibility for fleet maintenance through scheduling of on-call personnel.
  • Maximize productivity through efficient scheduling or technicians and cleaners.
• USDOT / FMCSA and OSHA compliance
• Supervise technicians and cleaning crews.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure availability of equipment for customer commitments.
• Maintain good relationships with internal departments and vendors.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DATTCO’s policies and procedures and all applicable laws
• Ability to train, coach and develop staff

Minimum requirements:

• Must have a minimum 3 years vehicle maintenance supervisory experience. Passenger transportation experience preferred.
• Must be able to create teamwork environment.
• Excellent problem-solving techniques in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management and customers.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Windows.
• Complete set of tools.
• Experience with bus and/or truck repair.
