Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
We are seeking detail-oriented, Production Associates to join our team across various shifts. If you excel in a fast-paced, technical environment and take pride in ensuring every part is properly prepared for downstream finishing operations, this is the ideal role for you. Your shift will involve wiring and fixturing delicate parts onto racks, supporting cleaning, plating, and surface coating processes, while helping maintain a safe, efficient workspace.
Pay: $17.50 - $19/hr
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift
Responsibilities
- Fixture parts onto designated racks per general instructions, using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures.
- Read and apply special instructions when required, ensuring correct part orientation and fixturing.
- Perform frequent counting of products to maintain accuracy and meet daily rack quotas.
- Inspect incoming parts and report any defects or questionable conditions immediately to the Department Lead.
- Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Execute prescribed preventive maintenance on racking equipment, such as checking wire cutters, lubricating pins, and inspecting rack fixtures.
- Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision, consistently meeting production targets.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to support overall production demands and address issues promptly.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of related racking, assembly, or finishing experience preferred.
- Ability to read work orders and written instructions; legible penmanship for labeling and counts.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and counting by twos or tens.
- Mechanical inclination with the ability to troubleshoot simple fixture or wire-break issues.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in securing each part before moving downstream.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask during peak production cycles.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting defects, asking clarifying questions, and documenting maintenance.
- Safety-focused mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
