HR/Payroll Assistant (up to $30/hr)
We have partnered with a well-known and respected University located just outside Boston, MA who is looking for an HR/Payroll Assistant to join their office of Finance.
As an HR/Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for responding to a high volume of HR and payroll inquiries, with approximately 25 tickets per day.
You will need to possess excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise emails, as well as have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Info about this role:
- Pay of up to $30/hour based on experience
- Hybrid with 2 days on-site in Cambridge per week
- Ongoing contract with potential for extension
- High-impact role supporting payroll operations for a diverse workforce
- Working with a highly respected University in their HR department
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in benefits, employee service, credit union/bank call center, or payroll
- Very strong attention to detail
- Experience managing sensitive data in deadline-driven settings
- Ability to work in a hybrid set-up based in Cambridge, MA
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems
- Payroll data auditing and reconciliation
- Analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving
- Previous experience in a higher education institution
