Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current Occupational Therapy licensure
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Strong communication skills to effectively connect with students, families, and staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborative approach with educators and other specialists
• Flexibility in adapting to various caseloads and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, as specified by IEPs
• Assess students’ functional abilities, develop educationally relevant goals, and document progress
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents regarding classroom modifications and strategies to support student engagement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessments, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and federal guidelines
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth and participation in daily school activities
