PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing a warm, welcoming greeting to our members and their guests. Ensure that members are served in a timely manner in accordance with The Quin service standards and ensuring high member satisfaction and an exceptional dining experience.
- Provides leadership and instills a culture and work environment based upon respect, providing opportunities for staff to learn, grows and develops their abilities through training of employees, creating a positive, productive working environment
- Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines for The Quin
- Provides timely and friendly service to members and their guests
- Service members with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner
- Serves alcohol responsibly within State, Local and Store level laws and guidelines
- Proficient in preparing cocktails and other mixed drinks according to recipes
- Passionate and enthusiastic about food and beverage
- Have a thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, out of stock items and current specials in all applicable venues
- Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist
- Works in a clean and organized manner keeping bar and service areas maintained and in impeccable condition during shifts
- Has working knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system and accurately enters all food and beverage orders
- Have a complete knowledge of standards of service
- Assists other team members as needed, both with and without the direction of management
- Maintains positive and effective communication with team members and managers regarding all relevant information, special considerations and/or concerns pertaining to our members
- Re-stocks items and supplies as needed and alerts management of shortages
- Accurately and promptly prepares and tenders guests’ payments.
- Prepares all close out paperwork accurately and submit to the manager on duty for verification at the end of each shift
- Communicates health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to the management
- Attends all informational meetings
- Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
- Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
- Assist in the investigation of member complaints regarding food quality and service
- Ability to assist in other related food and beverage outlets if and when required
- Assume additional tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor or any manager of The Quin that are reasonable requests

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in a hotel or restaurant experience preferred
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Ability to learn and master Northstar POS
- A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
- TIPS certified (can be completed during on boarding process)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, good prioritization and follow up skills
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment Legislation
- Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
- High School Diploma or equivalent
