The Electrician Journeyman will play a critical role in residential electrical projects, focusing on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role requires leading small teams, working both independently and under supervision, while frequently traveling to various job sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in interpreting blueprints, adhering to electrical codes, and integrating new technologies with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install wiring and electrical components for residential projects
- Perform system maintenance and equipment repair
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using specialized diagnostic tools
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
- Test equipment to verify proper function and safety
- Lead and coordinate small teams on job sites
- Communicate effectively with customers and document work performed
- Adapt to new technology integration in electrical systems
- Be available for overtime and frequent travel to multiple locations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in electrical work
- Technical diploma or certification in electrical technology
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Proficient in electrical wiring and blueprint reading
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance and electrical codes
- Experienced in troubleshooting and circuit installation
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
