Speech-Language Pathologist (Contract Role)
Location: Leeds, MA, 01053
Assignment Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1890 - $2030
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital, SNF, outpatient).
