The Role
We're looking for a motivated Packaging Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Framingham, MA. Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, you'll play a hands-on role in the quality control, packaging, and labeling of cannabis products. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to break into cannabis manufacturing and build valuable, transferable skills in a growing industry. Duties may expand beyond what's listed below as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Handle packaging tasks as needed across all product lines
- Participate daily on the packaging assembly line alongside the team
- Quality-check cannabis goods to confirm they're ready for sale
- Verify label information prior to application
- Print product labels
- Update production logs
- Maintain a clean, organized packaging area
- Work independently when needed, with strong follow-through
- Pitch in on other areas of the operation as needed
- 1+ years in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment preferred
- Hospitality, CPG preferred and or Kitchen Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must reside in Massachusetts
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with peers, supervisors, and managers
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of brand integrity
- Must be able to obtain a state badge
- Ability to lift light to moderate weight (25-75 lbs); heavier loads with assistance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable with repetitive motion and operating computers, printers, and labeling equipment
- Able to maintain a consistent, fast pace
