About the role
We are looking for a Clinical Sales Manager who will be responsible for sales of Advanced Instruments’ specialty products, primarily sold into hospitals and reference laboratories. This role focuses on driving transformative adoption of our specialty products: GloCyte® Automated Cell Counter for Cerebrospinal Fluid, Artel® Liquid Handling Verification Systems, and Anoxomat® Anaerobic Jar System in North America through value selling and increased field presence.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, collaborative, energized, passionate, and possess contagious enthusiasm. They will have experience selling into new markets and be ready to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team to drive results and exceed sales targets.
Market Expansion:
- Build a strong, performance-oriented team focused on new customer acquisition
- Develop strong customer relationships, including with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
- Drive adoption, expansion, and standardization of specialty products within hospital networks
- Regularly analyze competitive strategies and market trends to identify opportunities and threats
- Communicate customer feedback to Product Management to improve products
Sales Management:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and team performance
- Manage a reliable forecasting process and drive results that meet or exceed sales quotas
- Create and optimize sales playbooks to drive new customer adoption
- Develop strategies to retain existing customers and increase their lifetime value
- Develop and implement ongoing sales training programs in close collaboration with Product Management
- Ensure CRM database compliance
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the team to reach sales goals, fostering a collaborative environment by working alongside the team
- Foster a culture of innovation within the sales team to continuously improve sales strategies and processes
- Maintain strong communication with other departments to continuously improve the customer experience
- Serve as a mentor for the sales team to support their professional development
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive market penetration
- Provide VOC input for next-generation product
What we are looking for in you:
- Proven success in selling capital, consumables, and services to clinical customers
- Demonstrated success in driving adoption, expansion, and standardization of products within large hospital networks
- Experience managing Field & Inside Sales team
- Proven ability to drive market penetration through value selling and sales team expansion
- Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems like Salesforce
- Ability to travel 50%
Work Location: Remote
Remote team members must live and work in the United States and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
