Senior Java Engineer
Senior Associate Technology L2
As a Senior Associate Technology L2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Java-based microservices solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications that drive digital transformation for our clients. Your Impact- Design, develop, and deploy Java-based microservices using best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate microservices with cloud platforms.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related Java frameworks.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of API gateways and service mesh technologies.
- Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud platforms.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
Additional Information
Salary Range: $107,000 - $170,000 The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
