Job Title: RN - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location: Hyannis, MA

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 36 hours/week – 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Medical/Surgical Telemetry for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective patient care using the nursing process
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care accurately
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Monitor patient responses to medications and treatments
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when assigned
• Utilize electronic medical record and nursing informatics systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and quality standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must pass facility Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams prior to start
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
• Telemetry experience required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in cardiac patient management
• PCI/Cardiac Cath experience
• Post-cardiac surgery or post-cath care experience
• Hemodialysis, dialysis, or procedural sedation experience (if applicable to assigned unit)
• Oncology, stroke, or orthopedic experience (based on unit assignment)
