AI Engineer

Our client, an AI-driven organization, is hiring an AI Engineer to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing real-world AI solutions that deliver measurable impact, with a focus on applying cutting-edge artificial intelligence to environmental and sustainability systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI systems and tools that enhance and integrate with the company’s software platforms.

• Research, design and prototype innovative AI, machine learning and data science solutions.

• Partner with software engineers, developers and subject matter experts to transform business challenges into effective technical outcomes.

• Build a deep understanding of domain-specific knowledge to define problems clearly and deliver measurable results.

• Oversee the complete AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, exploratory analysis, model building, deployment, monitoring and ongoing optimization.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a globally distributed, remote team across multiple time zones.

Skillset

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science or similar.

• At least 3 years of experience developing reinforcement learning (RL) solutions or at least 2 years building solutions with LLMs and RAG.

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Python (including NumPy, Torch, or similar frameworks).

• Experience working with IoT and time-series data.

• Proficiency with AWS and/or Docker environments.

• Practical knowledge of MLOps principles and implementation.

• Experience applying AI in industrial process control applications.

• Working understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on software quality, scalability and craftsmanship.

• Hands-on experience working with real-world, unstructured or noisy data.
