Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Janitor/Maintenance Technician for our client in Beverly, MA. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with excellent benefits and a stable, full-time schedule!

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Summary/Objective
The Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and basic maintenance of the manufacturing facility. This hands-on role supports the maintenance team in keeping machines running efficiently and the workspace safe and orderly.
Job Functions include:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of facility and machinery
- Dispose of scrap metal and industrial waste safely
- Mix and dispense fresh coolant; monitor and maintain lubricant levels
- Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, forklifts, and scissors lifts
- Conduct basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and demolition work
- Clean and sanitize common areas, shop floors, restrooms, and workstations
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Maintain a neat, safe, and organized facility environment
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times
The Ideal Candidate MUST have:
- 5+ years of janitorial or maintenance experience
- Familiarity with HVAC, oil mist extractors, and shop machinery upkeep
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active duties
- Skilled in basic arithmetic and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written (English required)
- Experience operating forklifts, floor machines, and other cleaning equipment
