Salary:

Synterex, Inc. is a global consortium of highly experienced clinical development professionals specializing in medical writing, submission publishing, and clinical science and operations support. Synterex offers remote or on-site services, with a focus on providing clear, concise, accurate, and fully compliant documentation, from early drug development through post-approval.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Account Manager. This role is a highly visible role providing key support to our client account teams ensuring smooth running of projects, managing medium-sized accounts with minimal supervision. Our Account Manager will manage logistical elements of projects, develop and maintain status reports, facilitate communication, and solicit and address feedback. The role involves working closely with our internal management and writers.

The Account Manager reports to the Principal of Business Operations.

Location: Fully remote. Some travel as needed for trade shows. Must be able to attend key meetings virtually and communicate with staff during business hours in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with client and internal writers to ensure projects are running smoothly and are meeting if not exceeding Synterexs high standards
  • Create working relationships that enable and encourage a highly communicative engagement
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that facilitate communication and ensure projects are on track both with timelines and hours allotted
  • Solicit feedback to facilitate deliverables and assist with future learning opportunities
  • Ensure any new project opportunities are scoped, contracted, and resourced accordingly
  • Maintain status report of open projects
  • Assist in management of project timelines

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of account management experience, with some experience in the life sciences or healthcare fields preferred
  • Highly organized, reliable, and committed to the high standards that help differentiate Synterex
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Highly attentive to details
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Wrike and NetSuite a plus
  • Prior experience in a high-growth company also a plus
