Summary:

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving materials into the plant along with the movement of material inside the facility. It works very closely with the manufacturing departments to ensure that parts are available when needed at every stage of production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct inventory cycle counts and physicals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Identify and participate in improvement projects related to inventory, storage, and logistics.

• Understanding of product lifecycle flow from shop order creation throughout production entry to customer shipment.

• Follow all safety rules and policies, including OSHA guidelines

• Receive materials from vendors, verifying quantities and ensuring accuracy.

• Manage the movement of materials throughout the facility.

• Troubleshoot paperwork errors and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.

Position Requirements:

• Experience with ERP applications is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members

• Excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is a plus

• Must be able to perform simple math equations.

• Previous experience with electric and manual pallet jacks is preferred.

• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly.

• Must be able to Ascend/Descend stairs.

• Must be able to Sit, Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Kneel.

• Ability to work in an environment with extreme temperatures (hot and cold).
